On August, The Cultural Latvian Center organized a great celebration to commemorate the aniversary of Latvia. The Celebration took place on the Potiribu Bridge (Ijuí / RS / Brazil) and this celebration is named Bridgest of Light. The latvian Citizens and the immigrant's descendants went to the bridge and there lit a candle or a lantern to show that lit a candle or lantern to show that the latvian people are joined in mind and heart.
